Our Breeding Program

In 2002, Jesse and I returned home from work with the same printout of a Petfinder puppy, Buddy, our soon to be first Scotch Collie. We didn't know his breed at the time, but were certain that he was the most well balanced dog we had ever known. Every trait from temperament, agility, strength and energy to playfulness, protection/prey drive and companionship, demonstrated that he had it all and in just the right amounts. We came to learn of the Old Time Scotch Collie breed and its rich history and realized that the OTSC was essentially bred to be the ideal family dog and for us with aspirations of one day having our own homestead, the ideal family farm dog. We weren't wrong.
